If you're an experienced jet-setter, it's essential to remember that every hotel has its own set of rules. Before checking in, try to get to know with the guidelines of your hotel.

To make sure your stay is comfortable, here are some universal precautions during your stay in a hotel:

• Be sure to confirm your check-in/check-out schedule.
• To stay safe, use the hotel safe.
• When in a new city, seek advice from the hotel's concierge for directions.
• Periodically examine for signs of infestations upon first entering your room.

While on the road, always be alert. Every trip is a fresh start to see, feel, and cherish. Cherish every second, but never compromise on safety.
